After being sent from Jakarta, finally the cargo shipment from MaPa Foundation has arrived at the Anugerah Anak Sumba Foundation, Waingapu East Nusa Tenggara Province.
Report was received from the Head of the Sumba Children’s Anugerah Foundation, Mrs. Ida Pangaribuan, that the book has been arriving, and is being recorded and organized by the Foundation’s Youth Children. They were very excited to receive book donation, which consisted of various titles and types. From picture books, children’s fairy tales, fiction stories, encyclopedias, history books and other interesting reading.
The MaPa Foundation also provides additional assistance in the form of books and stationery for Waingapu children. They can use them later after PPKM is over and face-to-face meetings in schools are carried out again.
While waiting for the renovation progress of the building being finished, which will be occupied as the new Sumba Children’s Award Reading Garden, Waingapu, Bu Ida Pangaribuan will provide further news for its inauguration there. Hopefully the support provided by the MaPa Foundation will improve the literacy skills of children in Sumba.
